(November 4, 2016) HOUSTON – John L. Nau, III, Chairman and CEO of Silver Eagle Distributors, today announced Bob Boblitt as the new President and Chief Operating Officer of the company. In this role, Boblitt will be responsible for all of Silver Eagle’s day-to-day operations throughout its 16-county territory. Boblitt has been an integral member of the management team for more than 25 years and also has ownership interest in the company.
Nau will continue to serve as Chairman and CEO of Silver Eagle Distributors. He will continue to be responsible for the long-range vision of the company and will oversee the strategic direction of the annual business plan.

A native Houstonian, Boblitt is very involved in the local community, currently serving as Chairman of HSPVA Friends, a nonprofit organization that supports the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. He is also a member of the American Heart Association’s executive leadership organization, Men Go Red. Previous community involvement includes Board Member and Chairman of the Board of The Covenant House Texas and Director and Chairman of the Board for the South Texas Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
