Beer and music lovers can win trip to the Budweiser brewery in Houston with indie rockers, the Tontons, on October 24
HOUSTON (October 5, 2015) – Budweiser has tapped into the local music scene to launch the brand’s newest music initiative, “Made in Houston.” The brand known for its star-studded music festival Budweiser Made In America has partnered with Dallas-based Music Audience Exchange (MAX) to drive this local, grassroots music program.
“Made In Houston” gives beer and music lovers the chance to win a pair of tickets to a private event at Budweiser’s Houston brewery with local indie rockers, The Tontons, on October 24. To enter, fans have to create a short 5-10 second video of their favorite “Made in Houston” moment and post it on Twitter or Instagram using the #MadeInHoustonContest hashtag and tagging @Budweiser before October 10. The Tontons will select 50 people to win a pair of tickets to the exclusive event, which will include live music, a brewery tour, signature beer tastings, and some other special surprises in the works.
“Being the first band in the Budweiser ‘Made In Houston’ program is such an honor,” said Asli Omar, lead singer for The Tontons. “For a Houston-based band to have the attention and support of such a widely recognized brand feels amazing. We hope this is the start of a beautiful relationship with Budweiser – not just for us, but for other local bands and the city of Houston as a whole.”

About Budweiser
Budweiser, an American-style lager, was introduced in 1876 when company founder Adolphus Busch set out to create the United States’ first truly national beer brand – brewed to be universally popular and transcend regional tastes. Each batch of Budweiser follows the same family recipe used by five generations of Busch family brewmasters. Budweiser is a medium-bodied, flavorful, crisp and pure beer with blended layers of premium American and European hop aromas, brewed for the perfect balance of flavor and refreshment. Budweiser is made using time-honored methods including “kraeusening” for natural carbonation and Beechwood aging, which results in unparalleled balance and character.
